New lathes

Hello Gents,

I am at present considering buying a new lathe, the one i own is an mc900 or axminster ccl, cost £69 off e bay and owes me nowt. The problem is that Axminster has the best customer service and has never let me down, but i have my eye on a fox lathe the 717A or the 719. My problem is this, has Fox got a good reputation on customer care and are their lathes good value for money. Its a case of care versus quality. The other school of thought is good quality cancels out care as none is required. A mine field or what! Your views welcome guys.

i also live near Nottm and have the Nova DVR which you can over and play on, i haven't had it that long, but at least you can try before you buy, so to speak.
