Just got one of two new holdfasts I ordered from a local blacksmith.
He made it to my specs and it works great!
The point is it really didn´t cost me anymore than the cheap casted ones (the smaller one in the pics)
that I´ve been using so far but always end up breaking. This thing is solid and should last a lifetime.
So, if you have the opportunity - have them locally made and stay happy!
