Hi All

I'd like some advice on how to improve/ utilise my workshop setup for dust extraction - it's currently terrible.

Machines are:
Record tspp250
Axi ts200
Axi planer thicknesser
Hopefully added to this will be a bandsaw and mitre saw

i'm thinking of using soil pipe and fittings as extraction? it seems cheaper to buy the pipe and a 100-110mm coupling for each machine than buy purpose made stuff. My current extractor is a generic scheppach ha1000 with a big 60L bin attached as a sort of cyclone separator.

Is this a sufficient extractor for all the machines? what else could i do to improve this setup (limited funds available ~£200 max)

thanks in advance

Joe

If you have the time....
Marius Hornberger on youtube built his own with a juicy three phase motor.
Not to be confused with his shop vac builds

Thanks fellas, will look into it!
i love Marius but unfortunately i am yet to acquire a bandsaw, which he uses for most of his builds and no doubt the extractor too!
