My christmas list and David Charlesworth

I have a number of David charlesworth DVD,s and each of them is excellent

Recently I became aware David has released a dvd called The Secret Dovetail

My questions

(1) How can I obtain a copy in the Uk It is listed on an American web site

(2) I have read positvie reviews

(3) If anyone has seen the DVD could they please provide feeback on what you think

Bit of a secret, but I have a copy given to me by David this afternoon, that is if you mean 'The Secret Mitre Dovetail'. This is for me to review and put my findings on this forum (and the others I frequent I suppose).

I have started watching it and am only up to Chapter 5 of 19 at the moment, I will watch the remainder over the weekend and put my review up on Sunday evening. What I can say is I am really enjoying it so far.

Now perhaps you can assist me? Have you one of David's DVDs that show how to do Half-Lapped Dovetails, if so, which one is it so I can buy it. Thanks.

I think the Dvd you are referring to is

Chisel Techniques for Precision Joinery

on the reverse of the dvd the cover is listed

I haven't seen the new one yet, but I can thoroughly recommend chisel techniques for precision joinery as a highly informative source for anybody wishing to learn how to cut dt's and other joints to a high standard.
