My Firefox browser jumps about like a demented flea.
Sometimes it dumps me out of a page, and into Yahoo search mode.

It's driving me loopy. Any ideas folks?

TIA

I had a knackered mouse cable doing funny things like that, I have also had problems with mouse mats with photos on causing erratic mouse movements.

If its a laptop...they overheat very easily because the fans are so small. Once it gets close to its upper tolerance it causes all the software applications to behave erratically. If I balance mine on my thighs while sat down for too long, the extra heat from my legs eventually causes this problem.

Thanks Gents.

I use rechargeable batteries (AAs) and only changed the mouse battery two days ago. So that's okay, as the battery is great in my pencil torch.

I am now up to date with my drivers, but the graphics is not much different. Great audio though. Much louder. Don't need earphones now to hear it properly, instead of a tinny scratchy sound!

I know about the overheating problem too Bob, and I balance the laptop on four 10mm thick wooden coasters. so it keeps cool. (More than can be said for me!)

My mouse mat ATM is an inverted place-mat, so that the cork sheet is under the mouse! I had to turn the mat over because of all the gravy stains on the other side!!!

I think that covers it for now, and performance is a bit better.
So many thanks for all the replies. It's appreciated.
