My effort at making a Moxon type vise. It measures 300mm between the 16mm bolts and the jaws are 100mm deep. It's made of softwood from a joist of a 1950's council house that was being gutted. I still have to fix some leather to the faces of the jaws.

I think I'd do the handles differently. As they are, they'll probably get in the way.

You're right Paul. I hadn't noticed until you said. They don't need to be as big as that. I must start practicing my dovetails now! Also the bolts are a bit long.
