Moulding out of different profiles.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any resource that shows how to make big traditional moldings using multiple router bits and joining them together, or is it just a case of experimenting? I've tryed searching but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Might be worth looking at the resources for people using Hollow and Round moulding planes... You'd be setting the profiles out in much the same way, just using electrickery to actually remove the material.

Why not try and download some full-size profiles off the router manufacture sites, print off the profiles you like/have/can afford, paste onto card and then you can cut them out to see how they can be combined?
