hi guys, I have just been installing a central dust extraction system in my small shop, to save space inside. I have installed the same little Chinese remote switch I have seen a lot of people use, and have had the same problem as many with the NVR switch. I feel a bit nervous about removing the 5-pin NVR and losing the overheat shutoff function. What I want to know is if anyone has ever had the overload/overheat function trigger, and if anyone has had long term success with this setup.(replacing the NVR w/ a remote switch on a 3hp extractor) thanks.
