Seen at auction today - note #4 for scale.

Fancy design - not the usual stack of solid wood, but built up from pieces (less warping) and with a fully open dust groove.

I'm surprised someone can use "normal" one handed shooting technique on a workpiece big enough that it needs this shooting board.

There was another (much smaller) shooting board in the lot too.

2 3/4" for the record professor.
Big bit of kit that shooting board, I haven't the room for something like that in the lounge

I'll finish off my other toted Shute plane soon....
