Have looked through the posts on these sort of saws and can only find post about people wanting them for there small workshops.

We could do with a saw of this type or site work and having never had one before I am wondering which one to buy, budget up to £800.00.

Needs to cut well, be easy to set up and load in out of the van.

Not interested in using it in the workshop as we have big toys in there.

I don't have one, but I do know that the Dewalt is likely to come up as a recommendation very soon when everyone else starts commenting.

So get a head start, and look that up. No idea on model...I know, I'm practically useless.

Yup.. I did a lot of research and for me the dewalt was the best.

Now a few years in its still working like day one. Its super accurate and a tough rugged machine. Rack and pinion sets it apart from the competition

Thanks for your replies

The joiners next to us have one, and I was looking at it yesterday.

It is certainly a well made bit of kit the only thing that I did not like was the stand as it is really bulky and will be a pain to get in and out of the small van with the other kit, my joiner carriers around with him.

The Metabo is a bit more compact with its stand on.

Price wise there is nothing in it and the Bosch seems to varying reviews.
