Mahogany or Sapele

Just been given 2x12foot x14"wide lengths of the above timber along with several other pieces.Is it Mahogany or Sapele??

It might not be sapele, but it looks like African mahogany of some sort - there's about 200 of them, I believe.

Lucky you... I salvaged some from a set of shelves and it made three carved wedding boxes amongst other things. Have fun.
