Just brought one of these contraptions for my new (to me) table saw, a charnwood W619. What a great piece of kit it's like having a spare hand. The rip cuts on narrow stock were spot on, I can highly recommend.

Yep, feather boards are great for narrow cuts or ripping long boards. That one's pretty pricey though. I have the bench dogs ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007OX ... ref=plSrch

Yeh I was looking at that or very similar but I wasn't sure whether they would fit in the Charnwood slots which I think are narrower than normal ones. Your right it is a bit pricey but I'm very happy with it.
