Logo design

Have been looking for online logo design sites, and have wasted a large amount of time trying to draw something very simple.
Anyone got any tried and trusted sites or maybe software I can use?

Hi there.

I had a very basic birch leaf on my badly self made website.
I want to redo the website keeping the same style, but I cant find the original logo, only a not very good resolution image?

GIMP will do most things, bit of a learning curve but hundreds if not thousands of tutorials about most thing you'd like to do.

Alternatively, try a UKW crowdsource
give us a remit and see what people come with.

Well you could buy an image from an image bank

Or you could hire a freelancer to do it exactly how you want it

Place a square on top of a circle and then white out the lines.

As you can tell I am not very good at this. have just downloaded two programmes which should keep me busy.
Naznomad has just shown how easy it is to steal a logo...

I didn't steal it, I drew it from scratch using this as a pattern ...

Ah ok.

I just want to make the colour a bit of a deeper green, and maybe make the lines not so smooth, more leaf shaped!
The real reason I am doing it is that my van is about to rust away and I am getting a new one next year (newish,) and I want to get the logo sorted out so I can revamp the web site and sign write the van in the same style.

this one is uncompressed (bigger file) and with hopefully a transparent background so you can use it on any colour background (in theory).
