As regards putting in telephone, alarm cable, cat5 etc. Do NOT put them in close proximity IE in the same duct as the mains cable. I have telephone, alarm, cat5 and satellite cable running in to my shed as well as the power. The low voltage and mains are seperated by about 8in/200mm in a wide trench.
