Due to ill health I've had to give up woodturning. I've sold the lathe but the buyer didn't want the stand so it is free to a good home.
It is constructed to a design by Peter Child http://www.peterchild.co.uk/index.html and is made from two sheets of 18mm chipboard and softwood bracing. It is heavy so provides a good solid base without vibrating but you could also add some concrete blocks or a bag of sand on the shelf if you turn big uneven stuff
The overall size is 1220mm (48") long, 480mm (17") wide at base and 920mm (36") high. The top measures 1220x300mm. It is screwed and bolted together so could be taken apart to go in a car.
It would need to be collected from North Bedfordshire, postcode MK43 7AS.
