Kity 613 bandsaw tyre

Hi all,
I hope that someone will be able to help.... I have taken a chunk out of the lower tyre on my Kity 613 bandsaw. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement in the UK. The damage is to the leading edge and is about 100mm x 2mm. would carrying on using it while awaiting a replacement do any damage to the machine.

it shouldn't do any damage to carry on using it. When you do, it may be unbalanced and vibrate. If that is the case, I wouldn't continue to use it because doing so long term may damage the bearings. If it is not vibrating, then I wouldn't bother to replace it.

Welcome fatchef. I wouldn't think 2mm from the edge would make much difference. I imagine the blade is further back from the damage, so shouldn't affect things.
