My dust filter had decided it doesn't want to work at High speed (select it and it just shuts down) and actually it's not too keen on anything else using its electric supply (switching other things in the garage on or off can also cause it to switch off). Left alone on Low or Medium if works fine.
My suspicion is something's not quite right in the power supply so that any additional load or disturbance on the input causes it to dip too low and drop out, but before I get my meter out and start probing it has anyone else seen something similar ?
Thanks.
