Nope, your right, it hangs, i just tried it. Even when it doesnt hang, it finds nothing, even when i search for items im already watching.

Musta been a server problem (bearing in mind Ebay is a distributed system)

Obviously. Any fault self fixes when someone capable of fixing it enters the room.

In IT theres a well known set of rules about networked printers which includes:

1. All printers are female.

2. The reliability of a printer is inversely proportionate to the number and importance of the people watching it print, and the urgency of the print job.
