I just downloaded Spyhunter

To try to prevent adverts etc I downloaded Spyhunter. It took ages to scan the computer, gave a list of about 400 problems, then )yes, after everything else) requested payment to fix the problems. Now I am having fun trying to uninstall it.

OK just managed it. I won't use that one again.

Thanks for the warning. I use adblock https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... idom?hl=en which is free and works for me.

Adblock here too. Almost an essential for browsing UK Workshop on anything but a pretty quick device because of all the dratted animated adverts. Does it need quite so many to cover the cost of the hosting ?

Ad Block is a browser plugin to block adverts

I downloaded spyhunter because I found reviews on line saying it would block adverts. I thought I had removed it - it seems not. It just keeps re-installing itself. I'm working on it though.
