I just read another thread (old one) where someone was asking for advice on making a bench moving system. I did this a few months ago and meant to paint it up before taking pics and posting it. It never got painted and has masses of stuff stacked on the shelf that goes over it now. It works perfectly. I had to add stabilisers, you can see them at the rear, they stop the bench wobbling when moving. The 4 pins on the wheel sticking out are for winding the jack with my foot. 5 Pumps clockwise and the bench is lifted up onto the dolly, move the bench and 5 pumps anti clockwise, the bench is back down on its feet again.
And while I was at it I made this bench hold down from a valve spring compressor, not pretty but it works perfectly.
