I would be very grateful if anyone can suggest a method of retro fitting aquamac 21 door seal to an existing wooden door frame without taking it out? The door frame has no recess for any seal at the moment. The biggest problem is that it does not have a wood cill and the door frame is tight into a recess on both sides. I cannot get a router into the recess to use a router bit and if I could I could not run it to the bottom edge of each jamb?.?
Completely flumexed!

Some sort of custom made saddle jig to ride on the frame profile and then a narrow slot cutter in your router. The corners will just have to be handwork and maybe with a chisel ground down specially for the job.

Biscuit jointer maybe with modified blade any good?

I've got to dream up a similar solution for my workshop doors as this last lot of windy weather has been driving rain in under the inward opening doors (no choice - they had to be inward openers!)

Nail on some door stops with the draught strip let into that
