I've just paid the princely sum of £3 for a nice gouge by E. Reynolds & son Sheffield with a 1943 ex WD marK. Any one know whether it's good, bad or indifferent? I'm having trouble finding the right place to look.
Thanks, Phil.

It'll be good.
The right place to look is - at the gouge itself  but WD almost always means good quality.
