Hi, i'm a hobby workshopper, slowly restoring some 3 phase machines to run on a home built rotary converter. Hoping to make use of the collective wealth of knowledge here on vintage Wadkins, Startrites and the like!

Here's the latest addition to the workshop, a Wadkin AGS 10 in need of some TLC

Welcome aboard
Hope you enjoy your restorations - you will end up with some fine machinery - much better than " new " gear.
If you post your progress, I am sure you will inspire others

Yes, I'm not sure I'd ever buy new for this type of machine. I've now got a Fobco Star, a Startrite 352 and the Wadkin BAO/S and AGS 10, and for what I've spent on them i'd have nothing like the quality had I bought new machines.

Restoring this type of equipment is a pleasure really, they are generally so well engineered.
