Hi
I've just joined. Passionate about woodwork, electronics and generally building and making things. I look forward to chatting about people's projects and coming up with new ideas. I live in York and currently don't have any space for a work shop
But I'm looking for space to rent somewhere close as I'm getting itchy to build something. Im currently working on a small portable Bluetooth speaker made from a solid blank of cherry wood I cut down 3-4 years ago on a job.
Apologies if this is in the wrong section or not allowed but I'm struggling with the first step of getting the block cut to size and squared up as it was cut with a chainsaw mill. As I don't have my workshop all my larger equipment is stored up at the moment. Does anyone know anywhere in York I could get this first bit done so I can then router out the rest myself?
