Told ya before ... 'Illuminati' and conspiracies ...

The world works like a massive pyramid, and only the very top little triangle controls the massive part underneath it.

Blair - 33rd Degree Mason
Bush - Knight of Eulogia, Skull & Bones Society, Harvard.
Bush Snr. - S&B 'Name' - "Magog"...
Duke of Kent - Leader / Head of freemasonry in the UK
... nothing starling, you may think.
.. until you 'know' what oaths and allegiances that these guys would have to swear, which would be in direct confrontation with any 'promise' to serve their country and its people.....

Look into it.. read/watch Jordan Maxwell, Michael Tsarion, etc etc..
( well ... look into it if you want, not - if you dont.
by doing so, you will very quickly find out that how 'conventional perception' would have you believe the world was 'run', is a world away from the reality. -- wait and see if anyone shoots this down... and then ask yourself 'why' )

& The "beeb" ... one of the most corrupt organisations going.

ho hum.
penny's will drop eventually

OK, so from the BBC blurb, I haven't done any more looking than read the original link, its a training company that has select entry criteria. Why is that so shocking? The entire public school system runs along exactly the same lines as do most high level appointments and jobs in the city. Seen many bankers on the TV with cockney accents or from obviously comprehensive schooling? The 'old boy network' is alive and well (think Eton, Bullingdon and priveledge shown in alot of our top politicians for starters). There are exceptions - notably Ken Livingstone among others, but neoptisim and class wars exist everywhere and this is just one example of it.

Some of the courses cost as much as £5000 to enroll. That is a pretty high fee and one that dictates anyone not really suitable for such a course /meeting / whatever are not going to be funded by their company to go. For high flyers? sure, no problem with that. Secret agenda to take over the world, white cat and comfy leather chair included, I doubt it somehow. It always amazes me that we are quite happy to espouse our leaders and senior people as complete cretins incapable of boiling an egg, but also quite happy to believe they are capable of keeping a secret society to generate a European Super State under the radar. I wonder if the reporter was turned down form attending one of their training sessions?

Hi StevieB ... The 'old boy network' IS one of the main breeding-ground to propagate the 'illuminati' and thus insure its continuance.
Effectively one and the same thing.
EG - at least 3 generations of 'Bush' in positions of power, and all were ( beyond any doubt ) high ranking 'Bonesmen'.

I'm not sure that 'espousing our leaders' actually means that they are espoused as 'cretins' or in other words "of limitied intelligence' ... would it not be more accurate to say the 'leaders' are criticised more for 'perceived' corruptions and underhand dealings, which are of benefit to a tiny minority ( often just 'themselves' ), .... i.e. completely substantiating the whole scenario ?

And as far as the 'organisation' that the link refers to ....
This makes 'assumptions' that 'Leadership Qualities' are the preserve of those that can 'afford to be recognised as having leadership qualities'. -- Quite where the link between financial status and posessing the 'qualities of leadership' comes from is something which escapes me.

I'm confident that most folk will know of people who have superb decision-making capabilities, are confident and competent motivators, clear and concise thinkers and highly 'rational & balanced'.... but not particularly financially priviledged. The link's 'company' would suggest that such persons are not worthy of consideration of elevation to positions of leadership... 'excluded', if you will. Purely on the basis and criteria of their 'breeding' effectively.

Don't dismiss the 'secret agenda' too quickly.
Be assured... its alive and well, and very much to the fore.

 :D

Just think if the females started a world order, what would become of us poor males?
Are you under the (mistaken) impression that there isn't one then ?
.... See " O.E.S. " for starters

If you're genuinely interested .... and can spare the time....
Here's a few quotations which may be of interest, if you harbour doubts that a 'new world order' which is driven by the 'secret societies' doesn't exist, and will be 'built upon' as time progresses ... : ( bit of a 'read', sorry !.. but if you're interested, its a fascinating subject  )

We are not going to achieve a new world order without paying for it in blood as well as in words and money." Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., in Foreign Affairs (July/August 1995)

THAT quotation and the following - and many others like them - clearly demonstrate that the words "new world order" are deadly serious and furthermore, have been in use for decades. They did not originate with President George Bush in 1990. The "old world order" is one based on independent nation-states. The "new world order" involves the elimination of the sovereignty and independence of nation-states and some form of world government. This means the end of the United States of America, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights as we now know them. Most of the new world order proposals involve the conversion of the United Nations and its agencies to a world government, complete with a world army, a world parliament, a world court, global taxation, and numerous other agencies to control every aspect of human life (education, nutrition, health care, population, immigration, communications, transportation, commerce, agriculture, finance, the environment, etc.). The various notions of the "new world order" differ as to details and scale, but agree on the basic principle and substance.

----------------------------------------------------

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or *promulgated* [emphasis mine], that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this *scenario*, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government." Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

"The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control.... Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent." Congressman Larry P. McDonald, 1976, killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets

"We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries." David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission, in an address to a meeting of The Trilateral Commission, in June, 1991.

"The idea was that those who direct the overall conspiracy could use the differences in those two so-called ideologies [marxism/fascism/socialism v. democracy/capitalism] to enable them [the Illuminati] to divide larger and larger portions of the human race into opposing camps so that they could be armed and then brainwashed into fighting and destroying each other." Myron Fagan

"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a LUCIFERIAN Initiation." David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

"In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press....They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers.

"An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers." U.S. Congressman Oscar Callaway, 1917

"The world can therefore seize the opportunity [Persian Gulf crisis] to fulfill the long-held promise of a New World Order where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind." George Herbert Walker Bush

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all." Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, l992.

"We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent." Statement by Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member James Warburg to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17th, l950

"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes." Benjamin Disraeli, first Prime Minister of England, in a novel he published in 1844 called Coningsby, the New Generation

"The governments of the present day have to deal not merely with other governments, with emperors, kings and ministers, but also with the secret societies which have everywhere their unscrupulous agents, and can at the last moment upset all the governments' plans. " British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, 1876

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." Woodrow Wilson, The New Freedom (1913)

"What is important is to dwell upon the increasing evidence of the existence of a secret conspiracy, throughout the world, for the destruction of organized government and the letting loose of evil." Christian Science Monitor editorial, June 19th, l920

"The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen....At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties." New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, 1922

I was debating whether it was worth replying or just to ignore it to be honest. A handful of quotations, mostly from the US, do not make a world conspiracy. Business influence in politics has always been rife, as has backhanders for favours. I cannot see much evidence from your quotations for a pervasive 'new world order' to be honest - a phrase that means many things to many people. Its even the name of a US wrestling group. Your quotations span multiple decades, from both sides of the political spectrum and beyond. The following in particular seem outlandish
at best:

"We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent." Statement by Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member James Warburg to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17th, l950

You also have quotes from 1844 up to the 1990's. Over the last 150 years I suspect I could find quotes to support pretty much any theory I wanted, from the existence of little green men through smoking being of benefit to health and evidence to prove Elvis lives. Think of the background to these (cold war, communist witch-hunts, two world wars, first gulf war, European influence over the UK, British expansionist policies as an Empire etc etc) and all these quotes can have significantly different meanings to a 'NWO' ruling the planet for their own gain.

Sorry, but this is not evidence, is a theory that even conspiracy theorists would be hard pressed to make much of. Either I am already one of the brainwashed majority who therefore doesnt believe in the NWO, or I am one of the sceptical who like a bit of evidence before taking a theory as truth. As a scientist I would hope its the latter!

How much evidence would you like ? :p :D ...

read the quotes about the 'banking' ... albeit from a few years back, the evidence is now there for all to see... come on, Steve, surely its pretty irrefutable !

There is of course the 'there's none so blind as those who don't want to see' aspect ... and the opinions of others are to be respected ( by me I mean ), .. of course.

The evdience is all around us that we're being driven towards a unitarian goal, by what amounts to a 'very few' people at the tops of the trees of power.

I don't need any more convincing, but then again, I'm not a scientist either ( but have a sister who is.. and can appreciate how difficult it can be to convince one ! ... she got the brains.. I got the argumentative streak  ).

If nothing else.. always makes for good debate, agreed ? 8) :D

Jenx it doesnt matter, there is always a government, which might follow lines above or it might not but it is still an establishment. Most probably the fittest will get to the top, a bit of Darwinism.

Very True D/W ...

and its pretty safe to say that whoever is in control ... they'll still have their foot on my head, keeping me down ! :p
I have motorcycle, guitar, fishing rod and lathe ... and until such times as someone bans those.. I shall be a reasonably contented little bunny  :p :D

I've got all those except the M/C but 53 years of married life Wednesday, and I basically retired when I was 32 years of age to use those things you mention above with a boat thrown in.
So I let those in government and others worry about holding on to the slippery pole.

(BTW I looked into my neighbours yesterday, there were two Honda goldwings, one BMW and another American bike called a Victory.)
The other side I said, youve got a new small car (isnt it) he said thats to tow behind my new motor caravan.
Perhaps I shouldnt have retired at 32)
