:? This is being offerd as a private sale. It's a HWEMA HU1000- 2.
its green in colour very heavy cast iron, motor is 3/4 hp I think .There is a face plate on it at the moment and the shaft looks to be 11/4" to1 1/2" thick .It has 4 pulleys and you have to remove the guard to change speed. Owner said it was used twice which I can believe It's 5yrs old
Is there such a make he thinks it was made in Holland. any info would be helpful. Not buying but would like to know Regards Boysie

That would be a Huvema - a common brand in the Netherlands. I've seen one in action. It isn't half as bad as Ferm and other really low-quality brands, but the distance between the bearings on the spindle is very small, the spindle housing itself is weak - in short: buy an older cast iron machine and be happy.
