My wife loves hares . . . not the ones on my head which are an endangered species . . . but the furry ones with the very long ears.

So I found her a hare and cut it out of English oak and finished it with Danish oil as one of her Christmas presents :ho2

I'm not sure where I got the plan but it was from spending ages ploughing through lots of those 'free plan downloads' web sites. I seem to remember that the plan was pretty small and I had to blow it up on me scanner.

Anywho, I attach it for you to see.

Very nice, bodger.

I was very tempted to nip out and cut one of these, but decided a picture was easier.

'hare today, goon tomorrow'
I suppose you need to be a certain age to recognise these guys. :)

Well I recognise the wee fella in the middle. Looks in need of the green stuff.

It's surprising what my memory dredges up occasionally. Listen around 3:10 - 3:15 as he is using the plant.

I should add that I wasn't around in 1938 when this came out. ;)
And apologies for the brief hijack. :)
