Someone sent me the pattern tonight from the latest Scroll Saw and Craft magazine. Only took an hour, including printing the pattern a second time and starting again as the first pattern came unstuck.

Nice one Martin,use double sided adhesive tape from Wikinsons to hold pattern down.

Eugene, I don't think it's birch, though I know sod all about wood of any kind, but it does seem to be decent quality. I think I got it from B&Q, though I could be wrong, I usually am.

Bryan, it was my fault it didn't stick. I used a Pritt Stick that the cap had been loose on and it dried out. I should have cut a couple of mm off the end. To be honest, when I looked for double sided tape a while back, the only stuff I could find was much too expensive, which wouldn't matter so much if I was selling anything, but I ain't.
