Hi all - my name is Neil and I am based in Wallsend - just outside of Newcastle.

I am relatively new to the woodworking world and have been assembling my workshop for the last 5 years following a cycling accident.

I love my power tools as I can’t seem to cut a straight line by hand and use my tools to hide my ineptitude! LOL

During lockdown I built a CNC following a French design using 3d printed parts and I am currently gearing up to have a go at producing some parametric wall art.

I hope to be a regular visitor and contributor to the forum.

Parametric art is using slices of wood adered to a backing board to build up a 3d image. Can be hand cut but most people use a CNC.
