been listening to "This American Life" podcast for about two months now and i am totally hooked, just regular people telling their not so regular life stories.

Its free to listen to or download from the website or itunes but for some reason you have to pay for the old episodes

Also worth a listen from NPR is 'car talk' with click and clack the tappet brothers funny and informative

And then there is always "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor. Usually on on Saturday afternoons before Click and Clack. At least it was on W-UOM.
