I got a set a week or two ago, haven't used them yet, but first impressions like Steve are that they are well made and functional.
The instructions are fine, there isn't really much to explain when all's said and done !
Just set them to touching the blade before you start adjusting or replacing the blade, and then you have a set depth for when you replace the blade.
Seems pretty straightforwards and foolproof to me, although I haven't tried in anger, but don't see why it shouldn't work well and very easily.

Just an afterthought.
Keep them in the box except when actually using them. The magnets will attract all the steel swarf that is kicking around in the workshop. It will be a pig to get off, and even the tiniest bit of dirt underneath them will affect the reading. We are trying to get to a couple of thou after all.
