I'm fitting a new kitchen (swimbo's only been waiting 26 yrs). The laminate that is being ripped up is the old 'glue-together' type. It's been down for 13yrs and has worn well, apart from where the wall units fell off the wall and smashed holes in it. I only used non-waterproof PVA when fitting it, and although it's been mopped virtually every day of it's life it's never shown any signs of 'blowing'.
At work they bought a heap of mid-quality oak effect laminate floor and used it for 2 exhibitions. It's now mine. After chucking out the damaged pieces there's still plenty to redo my entire ground floor. It's the more modern 'clip-together' or 'glueless' type. I'd like to glue it with waterproof PVA as it'll be mopped everyday. Anybody ever done this? Any advise on a better or more suitable glue?
Cheers.
