If its not giving away a trade secret, may i ask how you shape the handles?

Nev,

I cut the handles out on a bandsaw and carve if it is going to be on the thin side to avoid short gain breakage l look for a piece of grain that follows the shape of the handle like you may find in a crotch. Michael
