Anyone who understands the Geordie dialect will recognise this.
Southerners won't have clue :lol:

When I joined the R.A.F.,we had a Geordie lad with an accent so thick it was 6 months before anybody understood him.So after that,I can speak Geordie almost like a native. Thanks for the list, it brought back memories.

Living in Newcastle I've got to say that the Ashington accent isn't Geordie. There's quite a difference even though it's only 15 miles away. That list does seem to be quite accurate though

Absolutely spot on Duncan and they aren't Geordies either but still classed as such. If you look, the pic it entitled "Ashington speak".
My Daughter lives in Ashington and whilst there are some really nice areas there now, there are still a lot of very rough parts. I struggle to understand the really broad natives :lol:
