Anyone got any clever ideas for making cloches?

I want to use the traditional "two pieces of glass to make a tent", so really just need a bit to make a 60 degree joint.
I have unlimited free glass

I can see a metal clip on amazon but whats the fun in buying ready made. :)

It's not wood, but Wilco sell some excellent waterproof, weatherproof clear tape for a couple of quid per roll. Just stick a strip along the edge of two bits of glass.

I had thought about duct tape but that's a better idea.
I'll give it a try
thanks

I have been doing a stained glass course and am getting quite reasonable 8)
so a fancy "victorian" one is on the cards as well

What thickness is the glass ? a wooden "ridge" with two sawn grooves for the glass at +/- 30 degrees ?

I have been experimenting with exactly that, today.
Had to run a bead of sealant into the groove
It worked OK ish
