Purchased about five years ago.
Added roller (planer) table extensions two years ago.

Well, over 2 1/2 years after starting this thread I've finally got my Jet 54A to go with the Makita thicknesser which I've had for about 18 months \/. Amazing the effect that babies have on your tool purchasing capability! Anyway, I've got there in the end ccasion5: - hope it was worth the wait. I get the feeling I won't be disappointed :wink:

Thicknesser is an Axminster CT330
Planer is a Lyndhurst 8" A revue can be seen HERE

With a table length of 1675mm planing the length of a plank is easy.

Quick update i now have 2 more planers to add to my collection starting with a rockwell beaver already mentioned.
The second on is an old 9" cast iron, that I have no makers info for,
the third planer is a Denning 9" model that is believed to be the second one know of in this country.
I use a Delta thicknesser (22-565)
