Well at last I have built an adjustable finger joint jig, and it looks quite good.

I used plans now from shopnotes.

Question: If I am cutting the piece on the router and need to make two 1/4" passes, should I complete each slot to depth before moving to the next one, or could I cut all of them to 1/4" depth then reset to the finish depth and go over all of them again? which is more accurate?.

if your jig is accurate, cant see that either way would be a problem....
personally if i were making two passes over a jig , i would do the first run , then drop the router to the finishing depth and repeat...

It will be a lot less accurate to adjust the height of the bit twice for each slot. Do one full run at half height and the one at full height.

Wizer look at plansnow.com. thats where I bought the plan as a pdf file.

Thanks Neilo that sounds good, easier than setting twice for each slot.
