Fence upgrade

hi bought at axminster fence upgrade for my little kity table saw. i can recomend it.it was very easy to fit,and i felt it was very good value. is a 1000% better than the old fence. andy

Andy can you expand on this a bit?
Do you have the Kity 419?
What problems did you have with fence?
And a link to the fence you bought.

To date I can't recall too many kity owners having problems with the supplied fence on the 419.

hi i have a kity 618. the older model. it used a bristol handle to lock fence, not cam action. was a pain to lock took 1-2 turns to lock it firm. as for a link

thanks. I forget that the 419 was not the only TS that Kity produced. They obviously learnt from the 618 as the fence is excellent.

Hi Lugo35. Can you tell me what the dimensions of the fence are? How long is the fence itself and how wide is the runner it sits on. it is not too clear in the Axminster description if the dimension it gives is the fence or the runner? I saw this a few weeks back and thought it might be just what I am looking for for my table saw. Many thanks.

hi the fence is 45 x 65 and 650 long the black carrage is 250 wide and clamps to the rail which is 40mm + a rebate for the bearings to run on.

the fance has tee grooves for mounting bits n bobs.
