I'll be starting my greenhouse project soon - using Maranti. It's quite an attractive wood and would like to keep most of it's colour/pattern if I can. So in light of that, what would be a sensible choice for the finish, bearing in mind it's going to be in sunlight all day and will be exposed to water a fair bit??

I was thinking Teak Oil - but is there a better option?

I would be tempted to use nothing or just maybe a couple of coats of danish oil. Varnishes will need to be done every year or so, and oil finishes will probably go black and or go green with algae.
