Using one of my Elu 177 routers this morning( Type 2, "Made in Switzerland") in my router table and it started speeding up and slowing down of it's own accord until it finally wouldn't start up at all....
A quick check of the brushes and they were looking rather worn down, but I put it all back together and it's now running fine again for the time being......I'll get a pair of brushes on order coz I've got a feeling it could stop at any minute and I'm right in the middle of a project and still got more work to do with it!!!!
A bit dissapointed that I've got to replace the brushes so soon, as the router is only 32 years old.....They just dont make things like they used to....
