Draper power tools

Hi,

Not that I'm really in the market for power tools yet (not built my bench yet!), my local general store has Draper power tools.

Are they actually any good as the prices seemed quite cheap - £50 to £80 for routers, mitre saws, jig saws etc.

Hi Jonny,

The only Draper power tools I can speak for from experience are the Draper Expert routers that used to be sold - Basically Draper badged Trend T5s - I've got a few of them and they are still going strong after several years of use.

As for the standard ones though I cannot comment.

I use a Draper bandsaw and pillar drill and they are fine but I also can't comment on their power tools.

I've used one of the expert routers recently and was pleasently supprised. We had a small draper pillar drill at work before liquidation - it was fairly old but worked very compared to some small pillar drills I have used, not sure if the current models are of similar quality?
