Donating tools

Has anybody donated tools before?

For charities and trusts etc.

I have 6 stanley no 4's, they're fairly modern and in need of tlc.
Too good to bin but I doubt i'll ever get around to doing anything with them and as they're so prolific they're practically worthless for resale, i'm at a bit of a loss.

Any ideas?

Tools for Self-reliance. They take hand tools for most trades to be refurbished and sent out to artisans in Developing countries. Up here, they have a collection at least once a year in the local town square, but you can probably find representatives near you.

Stick them on ebay as a job lot 50-100% to charity.
