Do you need to use Knotting with Osmo Poly X???

Hi All,

Just finishing the stairs off, have stripped them right back to the original wood and am going to finish with Osmo Poly X.

The main sides are 20 year old pine and have replaced the trim with new pine.

Do I need to use Knotting solution or not?

Osmo will definitely tell you not to put anything on the surface that prevents the Polyx from deeply penetrating into the timber so probably best not use knotting solution.
