Do these look water damaged?

I'm getting these modified, I bought them from Amazon and my friend says they are water damaged and that I should complain.

Spotting water damage in situations like this really needs a super clear photo or in person, to be able to differentiate the normal grain from damaged.

Try to get some closeup & in focus pics where your friend thinks the damage is.

It may not be water damage, but blue stain caused by log ponding is common in softwood and can show up after finish staining.

Difficult to tell even in a good photo, which that definitely isnt
