de-walt guide

Greetings all, please excuse me if it has been covered before (i did a search) Has any body used the de-walt straight edge guide? I saw a brief demo on one with a cordless plunge saw and it cross cut plywood very cleanly. Worth the money or stick to the old methods i.e. stanley or masking tape. Any thoughts? Becks

I had a quick try with the DW version at a show recently. struck me as more of a site tool than the Mafell (which I've got) or the Festool, which are more in the cabinetmaking league (but just as robust). If you must have cordless have a look at Mafell. I thought the DW guide was a bit flimsy.
