I have a Patriot chuck. I noticed a while back that the faces of the (2") jaws were not quite level. I hadn't spotted this before and moving the jaws round made no difference.

I was up at Yandles yesterday buying some pin jaws and took it with me to get their opinion. I left it on the Sorby stand while I had a look round and went back to see what they thought.

They had fitted a replacement set of jaws FOC.

Doesn't get much better than that, does it?

Was it Yandles or Robert Sorby who carried out the work ? Whoever it was then they quite rightly deserve praise, companies who go the extra mile deserve to get business , shame they are in the minority though, its amazing how many companies treat customers with disdain
