I've been asked to build two cornhole boards for a local student pub.
The boards are made using a softwood frame with a MRMDF board inset into top. The construction itself is easy; what I need are some ideas on how to finish the boards.
They are going to be used and stored outside the pub (under cover), but with the abuse they're bound to suffer the finish will need to be durable.
This is the first time I'm making something for outside that will have to stand up to misuse and abuse, I'm sure they're bound to be walked on and knocked about.
I'm hoping to use my hvlp spray gun to apply the finish, but I'm open to suggestions!
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Kieran
