Connecting two machines to one extraction unit

Hi Guys, I Have a Trend extraction unit on my WRT router table which works quite well. Does anybody know if I fit an in line 'Tee connector' to connect to my BS300e band saw. Will this affect performance?

Assuming you are running one at a time, there is no difference. keep the pipe the same size, keep flexible hose length to a minimum, and fit a gate valve on each leg so that you can shut off the run that is not wanted.
Without the valve, you will lose your suction at the machine you are working on.
