Playing with both a laser and lathe, I've started to see how they could be combined. Being totally useless with any hand carving tool , thought I'd see how you could embellish bowls. First 2 trial bowls, one a present for someone's 100th birthday. Learned a lot and can definitely improve massively. Next trial will be lasered segmented ring to allow for long motifs rather than circular. Never done one so...
