Two years ago we bought new house in Poland and I had to paint all the walls 3 times (among the other jobs as tiling, floor panels, doors, kitchen, bath room, toilets etc).
I must share with you something about painting, if you know it, you know it and if you don't, now you will.
Cover the paint tray with one of those plastic shopping bags, lay the bag to fit the tray nicely, turn the tray and stick a few pieces of masking tape and go to paint.
When you finish painting, just remove the bag and no need to wash the tray.
